Pick your ingredients from local markets and see them transformed on your plate
Ever wondered where the fish, meat or veg on your plate has come from? Well, now you can find out with Market Kitchen at Le Royal Meridien in their new interactive culinary master classes.
If you are a foodie and love getting down to the bones (excuse the pun) of your salmon, the Market to Kitchen concept will be right up your street. Because to the streets is where Chef Grant Ballinger will take you, specifically to the capital’s food markets and give you tips on how to select the freshest catch of the day and which fruit and veg is best, based on seasonality.
Once all of your favourite and key ingredients are chosen you will be escorted back to the restaurant whilst Chef Grant prepares a bespoke meal for the group. You will also get the chance to master the art of cocktail making with a mixology session at the bar.
Another unique part of this whole experience is that there is no fixed price! All you are required to pay for is the produce you choose at the markets – any extra payments are at your discretion.
Market to Kitchen is available monthly from 10.30am-3pm and requires a minimum of 10 attendees in a group.
