A rich and decadent medley of Arabic and International delicacies to break your fast
For the fifth year in a row, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is hosting their Iftar buffet during the Holy Month at the Cuiscene restaurant. Guests will be able to break their fast either in the restaurant or in the air-conditioned tent adjacent to CuiScene, which overlooks Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
This year, CuiScene have raised the bar higher than ever with over 100 dishes from around the world displayed in different areas of the restaurant and include Asian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Indian and mix-grilled delicacies to name just a few. You can pick up a mezze here, a maki or a salad there and also enjoy the many live stations.
CuiScene have also decided to highlight the Arabian cuisine heritage by offering a wider selection of traditional Emirati dishes such as the Harees Laham, which is prepared with meat and wheat, and the famous Machbous Diyay, which is made from rice, chicken, onions and dried limes. You can also taste many other Emirati recipes such as the Dajaj Maklouba, Bamia Bil Labmeh, Mouzat Bil Laban, Lahem Tareed or the Samak Harra which is a fish cooked with different Arabian spices.
The live shawarma station is also a great feature along with the marinated lamb chops that are delightful. Seafood lovers will definitely enjoy this Iftar as there is a huge array of tantalizing dishes to experience. Our personal favorite was the grilled lobster.
If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you leave room for dessert, as the dedicated room is simply amazing. Filled with many Arabian delicacies – Cheese Konofa, Umm Ali, Rasmalai, Goolab Jamun, there also are many succulent tarts and creams to taste. Plus, the little ones will love the chocolate fountain and the crepes station!
This Iftar is priced at 199++AED including Ramadan juices and is served daily during the Holy Month from sunset to 9pm.
