Brought to us by NSO Symphony Orchestra, here is another date to bookmark in your calendar: Friday 4th March at 4.30pm for Open rehearsal or 7.30pm for Evening Gala.

It’s always a pleasure to watch the talented NSO Symphony Orchestra team directed by NSO Music Director Andrew Berryman.

On the 4th of March, the performance will start with Wagner’s grand Rienzi overture, followed by Liszt’s Piano Concerto No 1 in E flat major, played by Ioannis Potamousis, whose virtuoso interpretation of the piece won him a top prize at the 2001 World Piano Competition in Cincinnati.

Right after, you will rediscover Bernstein’s timeless Broadway classic West Side Story Suite completing the first part of the evening.

Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.4 in F minor, one of the major symphonies of the orchestral titans’ repertoire and a tour de force, brings the concert to a grand finale.
