IKEA has extended their low prices to the canteen
Another year, another interesting idea from IKEA. For 2018, our favorite Scandi store is extending their great prices to their cafeteria shelves. Don’t worry, it won’t break the bank as IKEA has come up with the brilliant idea of offering small bites from a few Dirhams only, between 1 AED and 3 AED to be precise.
What can you expect for 1 AED? A glass of tomato or cucumber gazpacho that we tasted and it was well seasoned and had a kick of garlic and onion.
Mini Italian tapas prepared with bread drizzled with olive oil and tomato pieces on top or tuna tapas are priced at 2AED along with granola topped with yoghurt served inside small jars.
If you need something more hearty and want to ‘skyrocket’ your bill, you can even add a variety of mini sandwiches on your plate conveniently priced at 3AED.
A very welcome initiative that is available all day-so feel free to stop for a coffee and grab something healthy, or have a quick healthy bite at lunchtime.
We stopped by at 2 pm feeling quite hungry and enjoyed tasting our selection: tomato gazpacho, mini sandwich, tomato tapas and granola shot. A total of 9 AED.
Quite unbeatable, no?
