Tina Mehra-Joshi is the founder of Dubai company Splash n Bounce, which was created 4 years ago.

My background..

I’m originally from India, but have lived and worked in Germany, UK and Dubai over the past 18 years. I speak German, Hindi, and Urdu fluently and feel very comfortable in different world cultures.

In business, my main motivation is a sense of achievement and having financial independence.

And on a personal level, I am mother to two very energetic young boys and am lucky enough to have a very supportive husband who shares my love of sports, fitness, and the outdoors.

My business..

I founded Splash n Bounce in 2008. I was inspired to launch the business after moving to Dubai from the UK with our two boys, who love the outdoor side of living in Dubai, with its easy access to swimming pools and beaches. However, I was surprised that despite the amazing outdoor facilities, most parties for children were still organised in indoor malls. Furthermore, play areas in these malls were likely to be squeezed into a desolate corner like an afterthought, with loud music, boring rides, low ventilation, and a real lack of innovation. The expressions on the faces of the waiting parents said it all.

Splash n Bounce offers a real alternative to this, organising fun outdoor parties for kids in pools and gardens and giving the parents the chance to join in too.

We’ve just expanded our services to include all kinds of parties for kids, as well as corporate events and family fun days. Our focus is good outdoor fun and we continue to specialise in pool parties.
