Working directly with the co-founders of new startup that helps people to save money, reduce traffic congestion, have a good impact on the environment and meet awesome people like you!
Carpool Arabia is a local community that connects drivers with empty seat to passengers looking for a ride.
Responsibility:
- Writing and developing content for all social media:
- Creating monthly calendars
- Managing all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog, Scoop it)
- Live tweeting from events
- Develop the community of riders
- Be the voice of Carpool Arabia to our riders.
- Identify and engage with community and brand advocates to build ridership.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, Arabic and French desired but not mandatory
- Previous experience in tech startups is a strong plus
- The right candidate will be comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment,
- New media savvy – connected to new media channels and with a strong understanding of social media platforms,
- Culturally sensitive to multiple target audiences
- Loves solving people problems and can thrive in a dynamic,
- Passionate start up culture and sharing economy!

It all started while commuting everyday from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, founder Benjamin made a simple observation: most of the cars on the road have single driver. It could take him up to 2 hours to reach the office because of the traffic congestion.
