Looking for colourful and unique décor for your child’s nursery or bedroom? We recently discovered the company Moon by Mazoon whilst wandering in Dubai Marina – and their range of practical decorations, gifts and upholstery for kids and adults instantly caught our eye.

The British company stands out for three reasons – the quality of the fabric, the high standard of finishing, and the substantially cheaper prices than similar products we’ve seen in kids’ stores in Dubai.

The products that really stand out are the soft chairs for kids (375 AED) and for teenagers (560 AED), perfect for reading and resting. Customers are able to choose the fabric from a vast range and even personalise the chair with embroidered messages or names (10 AED per letter).

Patterns vary from a Union Jack, to an Abu Dhabi Mosque, to a Dubai Skyline, to bespoke initials – you name it and the company will make it happen! The chair cushions are padded and heavy, so sit nicely on the chairs and are very comfortable.

The company also sells beanbags (from 225 to 550 AED) and will soon be adding curtains to their catalogue.
