TRAVEL THE WORLD THROUGH ART

 

This summer 2019, Louvre Abu Dhabi’s ‘Art Explorers’ Summer Camp Invites Children and Teenagers to Travel the World through Art.There are two exciting holiday programmes to join: Art Explorers for Children (ages 6-11) and Art Explorers for Teenagers (ages 12-16).

Art Explorers for Children

Date: 14 – 18 and 21 – 25 July (except Mondays)
Ages: 6 – 11 years old

Equipped with an Art Explorers map and special rucksack, kids embark each day on a creative journey inside the galleries and discover the new Children’s Museum exhibition. They can enjoy hands-on activities that bring the collection to life through workshops, film and interactive games and explore objects and characters in art works while create their own using  their imagination.

An unmissable week of making 3D objects, drawing, exploring, playing, scrapbook-making and storytelling with other Art Explorers.

Art Explorers for Teenagers

Date: 7 – 11 and 14 – 18 July (except Mondays)
Ages: 12 – 16 years old

A way to discover the museum, explore artworks and stories in a week filled with interactive games, art workshops, films and hands-on activities inside the galleries. Teens can experience the museum’s collection with guides, share ideas, designs and stories with their fellow Art Explorers. They will also document their adventures through Ancient Egypt, Africa and across Europe in their travel scrapbook and create theirr very own masterpiece.

The programme between 7 –11 July will centre around the exhibition Photographs: An early album of the world.

Session: 9:30am – 5:00pm

KIDS AT THE PALACE

Emirates Palace has partnered with Haddins Fitness to propose a summer camp that will last all summer long with varied exciting and action-packed activities varying upon the kids’ ages (between 5 and 12 years old). Loads of fun await kids every day and the daily schedule looks just amazing; cooking class, wakeboarding, kayaking, sailing, and lazy river, movie & popcorn… we just feel like accompanying our kids and spend the day with them too.

GULF STAR SUMMER CAMP

There will be lots of activities to do on camp, from Arts and Crafts, kids games to a wide range of sports accustomed to all age groups.
Activities: All Sports, Team Games, Arts and Crafts, Martial Arts, Performing Arts and much more fun!

Dates:   25th Jun – August 31st, 9am to 2.30pm Sun-Thur
Age: 3 to 13 years
Locations: Repton Fry Campus, New York University
Timings: 9am to 2.30pm (option for Early drop off from 8am & Late collection at 3:30pm only available at NYU)
