About INSULA
INSULA is a French band formed by three musicians, with Maher Beauroy, Martinican pianist, Redha Benabdallah French-Algerian oudist and Adriano Tenorio Brazilian percussionist, who play Caribbean jazz with Arabic-Andalusian rhythms.
They compose music with original sounds mixing the Arabian Lute and the piano, combining traditional and modern music. The group offers a bold music, rich in sensitivity and color, building a bridge between tradition and modernity in the footsteps of the great thinker and militant Frantz Fanon, prominent figure in Martinique and in Algeria.

This “Emirati-French Cultural Dialogue” was born from the signing of a new cooperation agreement between the two countries on November 9, 2017, to expand the scope of their exchanges and encounters in France, and the UAE, throughout the whole country.
