MARINA WEEKENDER KICKS OFF THIS FEBRUARY AT YAS MARINA

The Scene, Mr Miyagi’s & Casa De Cuba will be bringing you a 2-week festival like no other!

British treats, international acts and wok’ing entertainment, a brand-new festival, Marina Weekender, is coming this February to shake things up in YAS Marina.

The Scene, Mr. Miyagi’s and Casa De Cuba are joining forces to throw a 2-weekend long festival that is set to have exclusive visits from celebrity chef Simon Rimmer, along with international acts pumping up the volume from the House legend Judge Jules and ultimate party starters Hed Kandi.

WEEKEND 1 – January  31st – February 3rd

THURSDAY 31/01
Part one of the two-weekend festival kick starts with your favourite Asian party boy Mr Miyagi wok’ing out buy 1 get 1 free deals on his notorious Thai-tanic buckets from 5pm – 8pm on Thursday 31st before bringing Dubai’s favourite boyband back in town!
N-Shrync will be there to host the ultimate wok & roll brunch over the Marina Weekender, where your world will be wok’d from 8pm – 11.30pm with unlimited drinking alongside 5 pho-nomenal courses from only AED 290.

FRIDAY 1/02
Bringing in day 2 of festival antics, The Scene will be hosting ‘We love Friday’s!’ where you can get your fill on British home cooked classics with 2 courses for only AED 99 or 3 courses for AED 149, the perfect way to line the stomach before the party kicks off at Casa De Cuba. Sashay on over to Casa De Cuba on Friday night for Tropicana Sessions, where the infamous Judge Jules will be on the decks playing all your favourite classics taking you into the early morning.

SATURDAY 2/02
Your Saturday line-up kick starts with Live Sport and the Tab weekender at The Scene for only AED 125 for 5 bevvies, so you can get over your Friday funk with a glass (or five) of plonk, house spirits or hops.

The sunset sessions drunch is launching at our festival weekend in Casa De Cuba from 4pm – 8pm, where you can savour sips and sexy beats from the resident Saxophonist & Percussionist with stunning sunset views overlooking YAS Marina for AED 149 for the ladies & AED 199 for the gents.

SUNDAY 3/02
You’ll be Havan-a good time all through Sunday in Cuba with a specially priced cocktail menu served from the marina side from 5pm – 8pm. Enjoy our 90’s throwback night with heart -throb and ex “another level” boyband member Dane Bowers taking over Casa De Cuba for 90’s Revolución, where the Cubanitas (ladies) get 3 free drinks or unlimited drinks for AED 99. Put on your dancing shoes and bust out, the worm and running man to an eclectic mix of 90s favourite, where girls get 3 free drinks or pay just AED 99 for unlimited drinks.

The trinity together at Marina Weekender will allow you to go from homely vibes within a British Botanist garden at The Scene, travel down the lively streets of Bangkok at Mr Miyagi’s and wind down with sundowners & international House DJ at Casa De Cuba.

WEEKEND 2:  7th – 10th February

Week 2 of The Marina Weekender continues this February at YAS Marina with Headline act Hed Kandi! Celebrity chef Simon Rimmer will also be in town and  there will also be delicious offers to try across the three award-winning venues.

THURSDAY 7/02
Simon says pull up a chair and join him for dinner round at The Scene. UK Celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer will be getting involved in festive antics, round at The Scene kickstarting the weekend with Happy Hour bevs from AED 25. Then sit down in the evening for meets & greets with the man himself from 7pm on Thursday 7th Feb. Not ready to end the night there? Candypants will be heading over to Casa De Cuba for a garden party spectacular featuring infamous sets from their resident DJs.

FRIDAY 8/02
Get ready for another funk’d up Friday with the Tropicana Drunch. This liquid drunch will take you from sunset sips & saxxy vibes from 4pm – 8pm, AED 149 for the ladies and AED 199 for the gents, to the ultimate after party with Ibiza legends Hed Kandi playing all the classics that will be playing up until 3am.

SATURDAY 9/02
At Marina Weekender there’s fun for everyone, Saturday at The Scene is perfect for the little’un, where there’s balloon artists and face painting. Kids can get stuck into their fav classics like burger, spaghetti & meatballs and roast. The purrfect night is waiting for you at Mr Miyagi’s with Hello Kitty night! Get karaoke’d away with Reggie and Twinkle who will be wok’ing the night away while lady’s enjoy 3 drinks & 3 courses for AED 99. And you can keep the party going with an additional 3 free drinks being served at the bar until the early morning.

SUNDAY 10/02
Ending the weekend of festival fun with a proper repair package! Settle in for a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings being served at The Scene. If you’re looking for a livelier end to The Marina Weekender, head over to Casa de Cuba for the 90’s Revolucion with Dane Bowers where all Cubanita’s (ladies) get 3 free drinks or AED 99 for unlimited drinks from 8pm.
