Tips and Toes offers an Almond Treatment that will leave your hands and feet feeling soft and looking bright.

We must admit that a manicure and pedicure is almost a bi-weekly ritual for us.  We like our nails to be well-taken care of and the polish to always be in tact-there is nothing worse than chipped nails.  So, of course when we were invited to try out the Almond Treatment manicure and pedicure we were curious to try it out.

Tips and Toes is a cozy nail spa that has a distinct Asian theme-the decor is warm and the seating is probably one of the most comfortable compared to other salons in Abu Dhabi.  The manicure and pedicure regime begins with the nails being cut, filed, buffed and cuticles removed. Once the nails are groomed the Almond Treatment begins.

The therapists begin by applying a scrub on the hands and legs-once washed off we can already see the difference.  The skin looks cleaner and feels smoother.  Next is the application of a moisture mask and the hands and feet are tightly wrapped in a steaming hot towel and wrapped up with saran wrap.  The mask is left to set for about 10-15 minutes before being washed off. Finally a soft moisturizer is massaged on.

Once the treatment was finished the skin had a lovely dewy glow to it and it felt soft.  The products are all made with almonds and so the added bonus is the sweet smell that lingers on.

The Almond Treatment is most definitely an added treat to the regular manicure and pedicure regime and we are seriously considering making it a monthly ritual.

Almond Treatment Manicure and Pedicure in Abu Dhabi costs AED 250.
