SILVERSMITHING WORKSHOPS AT OUR DOORSTEP

If you love silver jewelry but can never find designs to your taste, then how does our idea for training in the art of silver-making sound to you? 

We have found an instructor, Don Sankey who runs six-week workshops on Sunday either in the morning (11:30 am to 1:30 pm) or in the evening (7 pm to 9 pm) in the Design and Technology Department of Al Bateen Secondary School. 

His classes are very “hands-on” so apart from a mandatory introduction to materials and basic manufacturing techniques, you will also start designing and producing your own ring or pair of earrings, bangles and even cufflinks. 

We would highly recommend reserving a space well in advance as places are limited. These courses cost 190 AED per week and that includes all tools and equipment required.
