Lilies Cafe in Al Munnera
If you live near to the beach, why not make the most of it? That’s certainly our mantra, so we were pleased to discover a hidden restaurant only a few meters away from the sand in Al Raha Beach.
Lilies is a chic café and restaurant boasting stylish baroque-style décor and hard-to-beat views of the beach. The seating outside is sheltered, with a welcome breeze from the sea helping to keep you cool as you eat, chat, and relax.
The café is far more sophisticated than you’d usually expect to find in such a casual beachside environments – we are far more used to seeing cafes serving comfort food and snacks. The food is good and served quickly. We ordered a Goat’s Cheese Salad and the Seared King Scallop with Risotto Cake.
The fact that the restaurant is sheltered but near to the beach will make it a popular choice right up to summer .
