KIDZ FACTORY IS NOW OPEN IN ABU DHABI

We just discovered a new art and craft center in Al Wahda mall called Kidz Factory that is worth a visit. Located in Wanasa land on the top floor near the food court, this new art and craft center that opened its doors early 2015 is a spot that kids may adopt and will have them back for more. First, have a look with the kids at all the crafting materials and activities proposed in the’Hobby Mill’. There is a wide choice displayed by material or texture such as wax, wood, clay, metal or soap, jewelry, soap and many more.

Once the little ones have made up their mind and chosen what they wanted to create, you just have to pay for the material chosen. Then, kids are welcome to follow a staff trainer at the ‘Zumba’s Workshop’ who will assist them in building their own creation.

A nice way for kids to get creative, build their autonomy and get entertained while parents can either watch their kids or use their free 30 to 40 minutes to get groceries or enjoy some shopping in the mall.

Apart from this, the 2 storey center proposes different messy activities that usually kids love doing and are forbidden home such as the ‘paintball plant’ or the ‘splat station’.  A spot where kids will enjoy some fun painting by shooting or using sponges and patterns.

The ‘tee junction’ may also become a hit station as kids are allowed to spray graffiti using an airbrush machine in order to create their bespoke arty tees.

Lastly, the older kids can register to attend more technical art workshops conducted by trained art teachers to master techniques such as origami, calligraphy and more.
