Good news for mussels and fries addicts ! The Belgian Beer Café, initially located at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi now has 2 sisters in the Capital located at Novotel Gate Abu Dhabi at Bain Al Jessrain and in Radisson Blu on Yas Island. This restaurant chain has an authentic European atmosphere that keeps us coming back for more.
The décor is styled from the 1920’s, with wooden tables, chandeliers and waiters wearing typical brasserie uniforms. The restaurant offers a variety of mussels including garlic and cream, Provencal and even Thai inspired. Their crunchy fries (or pommes frites as known in Belgium) are wrapped in a traditional paper cone with a side of mayonnaise.
As the waiters serve pots of mussels from one table to another it is easy to forget you are in Abu Dhabi. The Belgian Café is fast becoming a go to restaurant, so to avoid disappointment make sure you book a table – especially on Monday nights when they serve unlimited mussels all night!
