If you try one new thing this week, then make sure it is the delicious and oh-so-trendy drink, Namlet. This locally made Emirati drink is available to buy in very few places around the country but we have found a newly opened Coffee shop that sells them in Abu Dhabi.
This lemonade, poured into a unique glass bottle, is available in five different flavours: lemon, orange, pomegranate, jallab, and rose. Namlet, also named Tash Ma Tash, is considered to be the first soda drink introduced to the GCC countries, dated back to the 1920’s, before all the famous sodas were introduced to the region. The production of this drink started again in the United Arab Emirates less than ten years ago.

White Coffee where Namlet are sold, is a charming place to visit too. We loved the décor, with a mixture of modern and traditional style, such as oil lanterns, palm tree handicrafts on the walls, and modern digital coffee pot printings.
