We have no doubt that the word has already spread around the German community and we thought it needed to spread across the city.

We first heard about Baker’s Kitchen when they launched in Dubai. Before opening their first shop in Abu Dhabi, Baker’s Kitchen visited the Capital weekly to deliver fresh homemade breads and German delicacies at Novotel Abu Dhabi gate – read our coverage here-.

We can now stop by their new convenient bakery any day of the week as they are open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.

What to expect there?

What we definitely like is the variety and freshness and taste of the different breads this bakery features. The owner is German and is a bread master ! From spelt breads to Rye bread (gluten free), wild quarter, wild Farmer, fresh individual bretzels sprinkled with salt, we are absolutely spoilt for choice and can now enjoy fresh and wholesome specialty breads all week long in Abu Dhabi.

The bakery also has a few tables inside and outdoors to enjoy a breakfast – served all day long

Located near Al Mamoura – check our map below, what we also liked is they have an appetizing takeaway section with plenty of different fresh and elaborate salads (Buddha bowl, Thai soul salad…), sandwiches, smoothies and even hearty and healthy soups.

If you have a sweet tooth…

If you crave for sugar and cannot resist the temptation of a cake, this is a great spot to visit as the bakery carries varied German sweet specialties worth trying out. Just be aware that the spot is already popular, so better to visit in the morning before they are sold out !
