Love Indian dishes, especially enticing Palak Paneer or comforting Butter Chicken? We recommend a trip to Tandoori Corner; an Indian restaurant located on the 2^nd Street, between the 15^th  and the 13^th. It’s a clean canteen-like eatery, with simple décor – but who cares when the food is top notch and prices very reasonable?

We started our meal with Plain Naans and Cheese Parathas, which were melt-in-the-mouth delicious. To follow, both our Pilau and Biryani rice were incredibly flavoursome, with crispy onions and a range of different spices. The deep-fried Hammour had been marinated with traditional Indian spices and was tender and tasty.

We advise you to arrive at the eatery between 12 noon and 12.30 as by 1 pm, the restaurant is crowded, mainly with Indian customers, which seems to be a good sign. And before leaving, the attentive staff had prepared for us two takeaway bags with our left overs without even asking.

We only spent 90 AED for two people, with naans, cheese parathas, deep-fried hammour, lamb masala and two kinds of rice.
