The Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi has launched a bistro night buffet celebrating French gastronomy
For foodies wishing they could to travel to France to discover the famous French cuisine, you’ll be pleased to know the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi has recently launched a ‘Bistro Night Buffet’ celebrating the diversity of French gastronomy. After experiencing such a night we can definitely say this is a great addition to the Abu Dhabi food landscape.
Upon entering the Giornotte restaurant at the Ritz Carlton, you instantly feel transported into a busy brasserie like those in France and are served by attentive and knowledgeable staff wearing the traditional black and white attire. Surrounded by an amazing and friendly atmosphere, the cherry on the top was listening to the tunes of Edith Piaf and of the movie of Amélie Poulain played live by a pianist and accordionist.
Embark on a culinary journey to France
Walking around the live stations you are spoilt for choice. As far as appetizers go you have a range of options including oysters, duck liver, poultry, vegetables terrines, regional salads and tasty quiches.
Main wise, the duck confit with its salardaise potatoes is a must try. The Mariniere mussel’s station and its homemade French Fries was also a huge hit amongst the customers. The tartiflette and raclette stations are also worth a visit – simply delicious.
Apart from the cheese station, those with a sweet tooth will be overwhelmed. The dessert section is fantastic; you’ll feel like a kid in a sweet shop. Paris-Brest, Bressane tart, éclairs, crèmes brulées, Chou Chantilly or Tart Tatin are among the delicacies the Pastry corner has on offer.
Hopefully this Bistro Night will be back every week on Wednesday because we plan on heading back very soon.
