Intersect by Lexus Dubai is a hybrid urban hub with cool and inspiring vibes located in DIFC.
If you enjoy visiting Dubai occasionally, then you may want to add Intersect by Lexus to your list for next time. No worries though, you don’t have to be passionate about cars to visit this latest multipurpose space in the city. Intersect by Lexus is a hybrid concept behind an art gallery, highend boutique, library and lounge to enjoy a coffee, aperitif or lunch.
After Tokyo in 2013, Dubai is the second city in the world to welcome an Intersect by Lexus. Located in DIFC, this location choice makes perfect sense mixing business, art, and a buzzing area for foodies.
We were mesmerised by the unique decor designed by Masamichi Katayama, a world-renowned interior designer. There is a statement ceiling lamp, luxe marble columns, trendy geometric bookshelves filled with inspiring travel and architecture books and a lot of impressive art to admire.
The setting is sleek and modern with bamboo crafted walls and comfortable design chairs. It is a combination of an art gallery, high-end shop and sleek restaurant all in one.
The menu showcases a range of small and large dishes made with quality organic ingredients. Our order of the Kale and Avocado Salad (40 AED) was fresh and simple topped with sunflower seeds, and a dehydrated linseed wafer. The Pumpkin and Orange Soup (40 AED) was hearty and filling but it was the Portuguese Octopus (95 AED) that we enjoyed best. The charred octopus was served with smokey romesco sauce and heirloom tomatoes.
From the large plates the French Duck (140 AED) rubbed in spices and served pan roasted was rich in flavor without being too heavy or overwhelming.
In dessert we absolutely adored the indulgent Lichu Hazelnut Chocolate Cake (35 AED) that came topped with salted caramel and hazelnut cream.
Intersect by Lexus Dubai is a unique, versatile and multi-purpose space, perfect for people to work remotely amidst creative, like-minded people and also serves as a destination to relax, meet friends or grab a healthy bite.
A place we would especially visit during the day rather than for dinner as the spot is quite vibrant at daytime.
