HANOI NATURALLY NOW OPEN AT AL MUNEERA

Initially a small eatery located downtown, Hanoi Naturally has grown its reputation quietly and over the years and opened restaurants across the city with different vibes during the last 10 years. While the restaurant in Boutik Mall is perfect if you want a healthy treat on the go, their latest opening in Khalifa City has a holiday feel.

Located at Al Muneera Beach, next to Costa Cafe, it has a large outdoor terrace overlooking the beach and waterfront with wooden tables and colorful metallic chairs. The interior also has a lot of charm with sofas and shelves filled with decoration items adding to the warm and comfy atmosphere.

 

This new location is a welcome new addition for foodies who are into authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Abu Dhabi and will certainly appeal to people living in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. Whether you are vegetarian, on a healthy diet, or love flavorful and exotic dishes, Hanoi combines it all offering a wide range of dishes ranging from healthy salads with a kick to noodle bowls, bun bowls or flavorful mains using lemongrass, tamarind, ginger or coconut milk.

For our first meal there we went for the old classics that didn’t disappoint. Our shrimp summer rolls along with the green papaya salad were two winning starters; we enjoyed the tangy lime dressing and roasted peanuts on top of our refreshing salad. We couldn’t help but add some crispy fried spring rolls that were devoured in no time.

For our mains, the pan-fried shrimp with ginger and spring onion was very flavorful and we also enjoyed the crispy fried duck served with minty spicy sauce. We ordered steamed rice vermicelli noodles that was a change from the common steamed rice and the pan-fried water spinach with garlic was a lovely green dish we will try once again.

 

If you are into bubble tea, Hanoi Naturally proposes to add the tapioca pearls to the different refreshers on their menu.

Focusing on savory flavors for this sharing style dinner, we promised ourselves return for dessert another day as that section also looked promising, especially the sesame and coconut dumpling in gingered syrup while kids were more keen on experiencing banana fritters with vanilla ice-cream.

As the delivery option is available only for Al Muneera residents at the moment, we placed our order over the phone and were surprised that our bags were already waiting for us 30 minutes after our call. An efficient and winning start that will have us back soon for more!
