“Science is so awesome!” This is the feedback we get every year from all of the kids who attend the Abu Dhabi Science Festival. Mark the dates in your diary as ADSF 2013 is back between the 14th and 23rd of November, 2013.
We are extremely fond of this event which offers such a wide array of hands-on scientific experiences. with more than 900 higher education students including ADSF alumni who are locally recruited and trained as Science Communicators by world-class experts . ADSF 2013 is ten days of exciting science experiences that will surely leave young visitors with long lasting memories. These experiences will gear their interests towards future STI careers.
As an Event Pass is required to access the workshops and shows, we highly recommend you purchase your tickets online, as the process is simple and very well organised.
Choose your location and age group and the website will recommend a wide range of workshops and shows to attend. Each event lasts 45 minutes and the quality is just amazing.
Young visitors can become archeologists for the day, by digging in search of fossils or discovering the facts behind preserving an Egyptian Mummy.
There’s also lots on offer for teens. Let them discover the science behind fireworks, explore the make-up of blood, or be part of an emergency hospital service saving lives after an accident.
In its third Edition, ADSF 2013 will reach out to even more of the nation’s youth, in addition to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western region, key Festival activations will tour the Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain in the Northern and Eastern Emirates, giving the community a taste of what to expect from the Festival.
