EDUCATIONAL AND FASCINATING DAY OUT FOR THE KIDS

With school over for summer, are you wondering what you can do to keep the kids busy? We suggest taking the whole family to Emirates Palace and visiting the “Leonardo Da Vinci: the Genius and his Inventions” exhibition. This touring exhibition, which has already visited Turkey, Germany and Austria, is running in the capital until July 5^th.

Kids have the rare and fascinating opportunity to learn more about Da Vinci’s genius and understand how some of his inventions, conceived more than five centuries ago, became instruments of our life today, such as bicycles, parachutes, mechanism for clocks, and floats to walk on water.

40 or more life-size wooden machines have been recreated from the Italian designer and inventor – and kids will love comparing Da Vinci’s notebook notes and models beside every machine.

One more hot tip… Don’t forget to head over to the Mona Lisa reproduction for a quick glimpse while you are there. The family will love meeting the famous portrait!
