It is all happening at Warehouse421
For those staying in the Capital this July, we have good news as Warehouse 421 will be hosting many different amazing workshops. From 3D printing, to ceramics, healthy eating, table decorating, we are spoilt for choice. Each workshop costs 50 AED. We are probably most excited for the DJ-ing workshop.

Healthy Eating for a Better You

For ages 13+ including families and adults.
In this interactive and educational workshop, participants will learn how to make healthy eating and active living be part of their day-to-day lifestyle, with a focus on how to incorporate good nutrition habits and a healthy lifestyle into their busy lives. Starting with the basics and foundation of what is considered a balanced and healthy ‘diet’, to boosting energy levels and eating out in a healthy way!

Yoga Basics Workshop

Participants in this class will learn about the many benefits of yoga in terms of producing a healthier spinal alignment and strengthening the core muscles that support the body. Designed for beginners and those that have not practiced yoga for some time, this interactive session will also introduce participants to a range of basic yoga poses.

Food Planning for Performance

Participants in this high-performance workshop will learn about the powerful benefits of adopting a healthy eating plan in terms of human nutrition and physical performance. Designed for amateurs and serious athletes alike, the in-depth session will cover a range of nutrition-related topics including the food groups, management of portions, and importance of hydration and the role of sugars (the good and the bad!). Featuring a seminar followed by a live cooking demonstration and food tasting, this workshop will demonstrate how effective meal planning could be the key to optimizing your performance.

Creative Mornings for Children

Week 1’s sessions (16.07 – 22.07) take inspiration from the traditions & natural environment of the UAE. Workshops include Words in Imagery, Henna Hands, I Am, Desert Scape, and Photograms.
Week 2 | 23.07 – 29.07
Week 2’s sessions (23.07 – 29.07) are an exploration of how different countries record their history through art. Workshops include, Aboriginal Art, Exploring Warli Art, Powerful Dragons, Batik Painting, and Geometric Patterns
Introduction to 3D Printing
19.07 | 7pm – 9pm
For ages 16+
Admission: AED 50
Participants in this workshop will learn about the basic principles of 3D printing and design. Tailored to beginners and those with little to no experience, the goal of the session is to enable attendees to design a 3D model, prepare a 3D file for printing, and to ultimately produce their own 3D print to take home.

Table Decorating Workshop

Participants in this practical workshop will learn a variety of ways to decorate a table using a wide range of materials, accessories, styles and motifs. DJ Workshop

For ages 16+

Participants in this workshop will learn the basics of DJing – including the creation of mix tapes, assembling a cohesive live set, combining vinyl records and digital music in a live setting, and of course, hip hop-style scratching – while gaining an understanding of the main sub-genres of Electronic Dance Music (known as “EDM”).
