No plans for the run up to the New Year? Check out this cool new village in Abu Dhabi, that has it all.
The New Years Eve Countdown Village will be open from 28th – 31st December and located outdoors so you can make the most of the cooler temperatures.
It features food and retail zones, alongside bands and DJs to get you in the celebratory mood as well as shows from local and regional performers.
If you are going along as a family, then there will be more than 15 activities catered just for you, including a balloon park, glowing kites and an interactive graffiti wall.
A highlight of the village will be the New Year Wishing Wall, where you can write down your wishes for 2018 and attach them to the wall. You can also share these wishes on Instagram using #ADconfettiwish.
On the 31st December, there will be a main countdown stage with concerts from homegrown artists, as well as another entertainment stage with local acts. Kids aren’t left out either, as they have their own area with a stage that has acts suited to their tastes.
At midnight on New Years Eve, the countdown will include a laser lights and confetti shower as well as an awesome 15 minute firework display.
