Design your own artwork, right here in Abu Dhabi
If you are a budding artist but haven’t found the right place to get creative, then check out Design and Dine who organise painting classes across the city – with the added incentive of food and drinks included!
The monthly classes offer the opportunity to paint cityscapes, urban landscapes and pop art as well as learning different paint styles and techniques.
The class starts with a welcome drink and an introduction from the teacher, Gemma Gallagher – who has won an award for the Independent’s Immerging artist of the year in the UK. Here she explains that she will take you through the painting process step by step. As you follow each stroke of the paintbrush, she will assist you in the painting process and offer her wealth of experience to perfect the skill.
After an hour and approximately half way through the session, you will be able to rest your painting hand and refuel with buffet and drinks (you receive four drinks in total in the price throughout the event).
After the refreshment break, you will continue to finish off your art piece under the watchful eye of the teacher and at the end of the session you can take your very own hand painted canvas home!
