We are now getting totally used to having many opportunities to buy organic for our daily groceries in the Capital. But what about organic skin care and body care stuff? Are there that many options available in Abu Dhabi?

Well, to our surprise, we found an organic bodycare and skincare line in the Al Wahda Mall extension. Let us share the knowledge with you below.

The Organic Pharmacy

As per the name, this UK organic healthcare brand which has a store in Abu Dhabi stocks plenty of organic stuff and we particularly like the Cleopatra body scrub which is a sugar and salt scrub that helps remove dead skin, detoxify and moisturize all at the same time.

The thick scrub priced at 315 AED includes honey and virgin olive oil and the key ingredients that give it a special fragance are the rose petals, Ylang Ylang and Rose Geranium.
If you are not that into floral scents , then give a try to their seaweed bodyscrub which also contains lemon, spirulina and eucalyptus.

Neal’s Yard Remedies

A few meters away, Neal’s Yard Remedies, a UK certified organic bodycare brand also has a unique store in Abu Dhabi and we found an organic makeup remover. They also have plenty of choice for body shower to shampoos, moisturizers, and a wide range of organic products for men. Worth a visit.

 

Lush

A place that we usually visit for kids’s gifts, we also tested their original deodorant powders on a daily basis and were surprinsingly impressed as it is both easy to use and effective. Thyme, Rosemary and Tea Tree are the three core herbal ingredients in the ‘THE GREEENCH’ powder that is priced at 65 AED.

Curious about how it works? In fact, ‘the microfine powders absorb sweat and smooth your skin while the essential oils and powdered herbs knock out the effects of pongy bacteria, making you smell delightfully fresh.’

LUSH also nows stocks ‘THE GUV’NER’ which is another natural herbal deo-powder prepared with sage, charcoal and lavender powders and has a light patchouli fragrance.

We already featured DB BABIES in the kids section as they sell a natural toothpaste for kids from Jack N’ Jill. Made out of natural organic calendula to soothe gums and natural organic flavors such as blackcurrant, strawberry, banana, raspberry or blueberry, this product albeit pricey (25 AED) is also SLS and BPA free.
