The latest in the “makeup sphere” in Abu Dhabi
If like us you are also a self-confessed makeup junkie, we have news to share about new makeup stores in Abu Dhabi.
If you are familiar with Yas Mall, especially the beauty shops and are serious about discovering new brands, then you’ll be happy with these new makeup stores that have landed this summer from Italy and USA.
What do they have in common?
They are fairly newish brands, that have gained their reputation over just a few years and are known for their very large palette of shades and colors and their fair pricing. They have conquered the mass market worldwide as they managed to fill a gap by providing both quality, choice and fair prices, in between the high-end beauty brands and the supermarket beauty corner.
The American brand URBAN DECAY now has its first stand-alone store in Abu Dhabi located on the ground floor.
It is so easy now to get our hands on the All Nighter setting spray, our personal favorite long-lasting makeup setting spray.
The other two brands KIKO Milano and NYX Cosmetics have revolutionized the makeup landscape as they offer quality makeup at accessible prices, probably a reason why teenagers and their mums swear by it.
KIKO MILANO (Italian brand) is located in the same alley and stocks a wide range of makeup, skincare and accessories. This brand offers a wide palette of tints for both nail polishes, eye pencils, lipsticks or foundations. Their skincare corner is also worth exploring to add some affordable daily essentials into your skincare routine. Our next try will probably be their smart serum drops available in kiwi & cucumber(DETOX), ginger (CHARGE) or berries (GLOW).
NYX Cosmetics also opened their very first stand alone shop at this mall.
Named after Nyx, the Greek goddness of the night, the company was founded in 1999 by Toni Ko in Los Angeles and is now a subsidiary of L’Oréal. The brand addicts will appreciate this opening as the store wil allow them to physically browse and try a wider range of products, such as liquid lipsticks, liquid highlighters and butter gloss. We are fans of their soft matte lip cream range, especially as one of them is named after Abu Dhabi and another one after Dubai.
And we also noticed that Charlotte Tilbury – already available now in Dubai – is under way.
