If you are living on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, there were not that many options whenever you need a special hair-do or glamorous blowout. That’s why the opening of SWISH by Immaclife may come handy for residents based in Khalifa City A and especially at Al Raha Beach.
SWISH by Immaclife is a brand new homegrown concept and blowout salon worth knowing about.
A cozy new blow-dry bar with gorgeous sea views
This salon has opened its doors to the public in May 2018 and offers not just blow dry bar services but also includes a makeup studio, which we struggled to find until today in the city.
Visiting this new salon will give you the opportunity to discover how Al Raha Beach is actually totally changing and shaping. Located in the new development of Hadeel, close to Al Bandar, the salon is at the pedestrian promenade level and is facing the Al Bandar signature buildings with gorgeous sea views.
The salon interior is not that big but definitely has a lot of charm. Mostly white, the background highlights the trendy Davines hair care products that the experts at the salon use for hair treatments and which are also available for retail.
As Davines makes a hit worldwide, we are lucky to have this new brand available in the Abu Dhabi market. With appealing and quirky names such as MENU, NOUNOU, DEDE,… and many more, it is very handy to get advice from professionals that will help you select the right range for your hair, from shampoos, conditioners to specific hair treatments.

We were lucky to visit the salon during the opening day and experienced a hair treatment followed by day makeup application.
We followed the expert’s advice who first applied a nourishing shampoo from the Naturaltech range usually adapted for dehydrated scalp and dry, brittle hair. After, she applied the Nourishing restructuring miracle -recommended serum for damaged hair – onto our hair and left it on for 15-20 minutes. After gently massaging our hair and rinsing them, our technician pampered our hair using the Rolls hair-dryer from DYSON Supersonic.
We also enjoyed being pampered by our make-up artist who highly upgraded our overall look in just half an hour! Lastly, watching how a professional works and uses the different make-up products is also very informative and worth a couple of tutorials on YouTube!
The spot you should consider next time you have an important presentation at work, want a midweek pick-me-up or want light makeup for date night, or perhaps a pre-brunch indulgent hair treatment and glamorous makeover for Friday. The stylists will help you get the right look for the occasion.
Another good news we wanted to share: SWISH is offering the first lady to walk up to the salon at 8 am every morning her blow dry free of charge. This is a permanent offer available for walk in customers only on every day of the week – yes, even the weekends!
SWISH is open daily from 8 am onwards.
Blow dry prices start from AED 200 – flat rate applied whatever hair length and type -, with packages available. SWISH also offers a variety of up-dos, braids and hair treatments from Davines. Bespoke services are also available upon request for bridal parties, hen parties, and other special events.
