Spaccanapoli takes you back to your youth with their sweet tasting Evening Delight.
If your sweet tooth isn’t satisfied enough in this city, head to Spaccanapoli where sugar filled dreams are made of.
Evening Delight is a new evening attraction offering a range of modern desserts, macaroons, sweet sauces and puddings that transport you back to your youth.
We tried the desserts and grapes package, which also included unlimited bubbles until 11pm.
At the dessert buffet counter the centrepiece was tower of mini desserts, from profiteroles and Italian panforte to blueberry and lemon tarts. Our eyes were also drawn to the different coloured mini meringues around the table as well as small mousses, cream cones and chocolate covered lollipops.
Taking us back to our childhood were colourful mini éclairs, Battenberg cake and jars of penny sweets, containing marshmallows, jellies and m&ms. There was also a huge jar of hundreds and thousands – we had to stop ourselves diving into that.
For fondue fans there were three different types of sauces – chocolate, strawberry and vanilla to dip fruit, cake or anything into!
For dessert lovers this really the sweetest end, middle and start to your evening – we would suggest having a Spaccanapoli pizza first though, just to soak up the sugar!
