Artwork in Abu Dhabi that is an ode to the Emirati heritage

Those living in Al Raha Beach area have probably been amazed watching the development of this fantastic first mural art project in Abu Dhabi commissioned by Aldar that is located below the Aldar iconic HQ building.

We have visited this amazing mural the first week of July 2016 along Raha Boulevard close to Raha Mall which is more than 500 meters long. While it is still under progress, we were in awe watching this incredible artwork with images that look so realistic you have the feeling of watching real photograph pictures.

Different artists coming from Switzerland, Peru, US, Mexico, Venezuela participated in this art project that reflects the Emirati heritage, culture and traditions. A young boy walking with a camel, Emirati ladies doing some traditional weaving with palm tree leaves, a traditional coffee pot, the old turquoise blue lantern, these are some of the paintings people get to see while driving.

Here is a glimpse of this artwork captured on Instagram lately and a couple of images. It looks so good!
