New Retail Abu Dhabi Winter Season Set to Launch with this innovative ‘Name Your Price’ Programme

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) launched its latest Retail Abu Dhabi (RAD) Winter Season promotions, which this year features the first-ever ‘Name Your Price’ programme.

The innovative promotion offers shoppers the opportunity to ‘unlock’ some consumer products at prices they choose themselves, meaning they could be picking up some amazing items at incredibly low prices.

Bargain-hunters can now register on www.bestinyourmall.ae to create their account and get access to various exclusive items for which users can name their price.

How to register and take part?

Registration can be completed by visiting the website or scanning an online QR code and filling in an online form. The promotion went live on December 26, giving registered users the chance to name their price on items such as Rolex watches, electronics and even cars.
To validate your price, however, you will need to shop at one of the more than 1,000 participating retailers across 19 malls in Abu Dhabi (list below*). For every AED 200 spent, shoppers earn a ‘deal credit’, which can then be used for any of the exclusive items on the website, with the value of the items available totaling more than AED 3 million.
So, the more you shop, the more offers you can make and score incredible deals, such as electronics, luxury timepieces and luxury cars – naming the price you’d like to pay for the products you love.

The website will be live until February 8, 2020.

*Malls taking part in the RAD Winter Season include Abu Dhabi Mall, Galleria Mall, Yas Mall, Marina Mall, The Mall at World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, Al Jimi Mall, Al Raha Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Barari Outlet Mall, Foah Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Madinat Zayed, Mazyad Mall, and Mushrif Mall. Other malls include Al Ain Mall, Hili Mall, Bawadi Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall and Deerfields Mall.

The Winter Season promotion will run alongside further sales and activities across participating malls, which will provide shoppers with incredible experiences and rewards this winter. This includes 75% off selected products at some of the participating retailers. Additionally during this Winter Season shoppers can take advantage of festive programmes across the city.

An overview of what’s going on in Abu Dhabi this festive season

Galleria Mall
From December 5 to 24, shoppers can enjoy festive performances and a meet- and-greet session with Santa Claus from 3pm to 9pm. Shoppers are invited to explore a Winter Maze and Candyland, a gingerbread-themed play area where visitors can create festive arts and crafts to take home.

Abu Dhabi Mall
Shoppers are invited to visit the winter village and enjoy a host of activities for the entire family including the chance to meet Santa and his elves, festive workshops, marching nutcrackers and a winter market. Shoppers can also win three weekly cash prizes worth AED 10,000 each or more than 800 shopping vouchers.

Bawabat Al Sharq Mall
There will be a winter wonderland on display from December 19 to January 14, which will include a fairy tale area, kids craft area, gingerbread house and snow slide. The mall will also run a ‘shop and win’ promotion for various electronic items.
