Go and check out the indoor Butterfly Garden with the entire family​ in Dubai​

​If you are looking for a special activity with your kids or want to plan a fun outing with friends, look no further because we have recently discovered The Butterfly Garden next to Miracle Garden (near Motor City)​ in Dubai​.​ Having opened this Spring, the garden has travellers from abroad coming especially to visit this incredible spot. ​

The butterfly-shaped garden has an outside section that is covered with endless rows of flowers. There is also a café and an outdoor seating area, but don’t spend much time here and head straight indoors.

The best part of the garden is of course the domes housing the butterflies–which by the way also happens to be the biggest indoor collection in the world. There are about 15,000 butterflies from all over the world, each more beautiful than the next. The butterflies are freely flying around you as you walk in the alleys of the domes where a natural environment with trees, plants and ponds has been recreated.

It can be a bit daunting for the smaller children to see so many butterflies surrounding them but the staff is very good at putting them at ease and showing them how harmless the butterflies are.

Overall The Butterfly Garden is really an attraction worth visiting and a splendor to admire. Of course beauty has its price and it’s an expensive outing that costs 50 AED per person.

Kids love it and the adult too: seeing beautiful butterflies flying around you, has something very magical and fairy-tale like, because let’s be honest such a sight would be never really exist in a completely natural environment.

Oh, and the good news is that The Dubai Butterfly garden is open throughout the year.

Entry is 50 AED (it is free for children under 3 years of age).
