Planning to travel abroad during the long summer break and already stressed over the jetlag you will experience?
You can relax because we just found a new app called Entrain that is amongst the 20 most popular travel apps in the apple store.
According to the website dedicated to this app, “Light is the primary driving input to the circadian clock, and by recording your lighting history, we can simulate your body’s clock and make recommendations for behavior.”
Developed by a team of researchers from the University of Michigan, this mathematical app uses an algorithm that will calculate the hours of sleep you need and exposure to daylight that is necessary so you can get adjusted much faster to your new time zone.
Basically, you just need to enter your usual sleeping hours and where you will be traveling and it will give you a bespoke real time schedule to follow in order to overcome the painful jet lag much quicker.
We have already downloaded the app and can’t wait to use it during our travels!
