We love hearing about local UAE talent, so when we were told that Manarat Al Saadiyat will once again host the “Emirati Expressions : Realised” photographic exhibition, we were delighted. After two successful shows in 2008 and 2011, the exhibition will once again grace our city, running for four months between the 30th of October, 2013, and the 18th of January, 2014.
The exhibition, which will no doubt be a huge success, will showcase pieces of art from six Emirati artists and photographers, recognizing the breadth of their artistic talent and showing how they play an important role in the upcoming contemporary visual art scene in the UAE.
“Emirati Expressions : Realised” will show the public ideas and projects by these local artists which had remained ‘unrealised’ until now.
We can’t wait to see what’s on show at the exhibition, but know that whatever ‘Emirati Expressions’ we are presented with, they will be sure to make us feel proud of our local UAE talent!
