Ramadan Art Bazaar is one of our favourite initiatives of the season. Now in its sixth year, Ghaf Art Gallery is hosting the annual Ramadan event until 7th August 2013.
This is the first year that Sumayyah Al Suwaidi (Emirati artist, curator and boutique owner) encouraged artists to participate in the exhibition. She pulled together the work of almost 30 different artists from different countries. The exhibition is quite simply amazing, mixing handmade products, photography, paintings, and digital pieces for a visually stunning result.
Visitors have the opportunity to visit and admire the artwork during the Holy Month of Ramadan and it’s a great opportunity to start an art collection, with unique pieces sold much beyond the usual prices.
Don’t miss the fabulous handmade baskets created by RIGAA, a local UAE company we discovered during ATAYA exhibition last April.
