We are always interested when art supports a good cause and will be sure to attend the upcoming annual Ataya exhibition (from the 6th to 9th of May), showcasing the work of both upcoming and established designers from the region. Organized by the UAE Red Crescent, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, all proceeds from this years event will be donated to Autism Centers across the UAE.
The fair comprises a unique and diverse fashion collection, jewellery, and household accessories.We are especially excited to see the work of Y.Knot, a Beirut based designer known for her colorful hand knitted items including clothes and home accessories. Last year, more than 50 vendors came to exhibit at Ataya exhibition.
This is definitely a good time to check out some great labels and brands while giving to a good cause.
