We Visit The Lovely YogaOne Space in Mangrove One

The biggest news in the Abu Dhabi yoga scene right now is, without a doubt, the opening of the capital’s third dedicated yoga studio! Located in the Mangrove One compound behind Al Seef Village Mall, it’s perfectly located to cater to needy yogis on and off the island, too.

The studio is a beautiful joint effort by yogi buddies Mina Lee and Margie Cordon, a pair whose passion and energy for yoga is clearly shown in the care and attention to detail they’ve taken to decorate a cute, communal space for Abu Dhabi’s growing yoga population.

There are so many cool classes – even kids yoga and ‘Broga’ for the boys – but one signature that will be a hit with fitness enthusiasts is the music-led Fit Flow. It’s a little more high-energy than your typical mat practice. Designed to tone, increase cardio endurance and boost metabolism, it’s High Intensity Interval Training meets a very addictive Vinyasa Flow.

We’re also super excited to finally take in some hot yoga closer to the capital. The spacious Namaste’ room has overhead infrared heaters to make sure you get that gorgeous sweat.

These girls just want to make yoga feel more inclusive and so there is even a donation-based class, plus use of their Manduka mats and locker room and shower facilities is all free! Pretty hard to beat!
