All you need to know about the Eid Al Adha Celebrations at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi

Join the fun on Yas Island for an exciting Eid Al Adha celebration. We just received the detailed program and there’s a lot of festivities awaiting us from fireworks to a circus and food trucks and so much more. Check our detailed overview and start planning ahead ! See you there ..

Kicking off at 7pm on the first night of Eid Al Adha, the celebrations will include fire and light-fuelled entertainment, family-friendly games, DJs and a spectacular finale in the sky.

Some fun for the little ones at Yas Promenade

This year, a troupe of circus performers – fire-eaters, stilt-walkers as well as glow jugglers and glow drummers – will entertain visitors all night and roam through Yas Marina’s promenade.
Kids will be spoilt for choice at the pop-up children’s area. They will be able to try a selection of interactive games stalls for all ages – flashlight limbo, fluorescent face painting, cooling down at the musical water fountain and more. We also heard about the Glow in the Dark Games station complete with a glow stick ring toss.

Fireworks

Don’t miss the fireworks. They will be kicking off at 9pm on the first day of Eid Al Adha and the promenade offers great views and a friendly-family environment, lying down on the grass near IRIS restaurant, sipping a drink at one of the seven outlets or just walking along the promenade overlooking the yacht marina and the iconic Yas Viceroy hotel.

Aplenty dining options for foodies

If some of you still haven’t visited Yas Marina, it’s a lovely pedestrian friendly spot in Abu Dhabi with no less than 7 licensed restaurants where you can either dine-in outdoors on inside: Diabolito (great tapas spot with an outdoor terrace on the first floor overlooking the marina and the recetrack), Rozanah (Lebanese cuisine), Café d’Alsace, Stars N Bars, Aquarium (seafood and sushi), Iris ( they have a great mocktails and cocktails selection) or the fine dining Cipriani.
