Step into a Holiday Wonderland with Abu Dhabi Moments’ Winter Fest

Taking place on the Corniche from 12 to 21 December, 3pm until 11pm, families will be able to revel in the holiday spirit!

This 10-day family-friendly festive celebration is set to bring joy to Abu Dhabi residents, as the Formal Park hosts its first-ever Winter Fest, part of the Abu Dhabi Moments initiative, for the most magical time of year!

Experience the Winter Fest without the need for coats and scarfs, as the unique celebration brings visitors merry magic and endless entertainment for the whole family to embrace. Heaps of festive fun awaits at the family attraction, as Winter Fest comes complete with stalls to shop, winter skill games to enjoy, traditional treats to devour and plenty of entertainment for both adults and children.

The enchanting festival will excite guests with snowball fights, a dedicated zone to build snowmen, arts and crafts workshops and lots of festive games. Kids will keep busy as they engage in the ornament making workshops and ginger bread decorating. Visitors can get their skates on with the incredible open-air lice rink and listen to daily festive choir singers, along with holiday favourite movies played throughout the 10-day free to attend event.

Families will be well-fed throughout thanks to festive foodie treats and seasonal beverages inspired by cuisines from all around the globe. The winter extravaganza will keep guests topped up with festive cheer!

Abu Dhabi Moments, an initiative by the Department of Community Development and part of the Abu Dhabi Accelerated Development Programme ‘Ghadan 21’, aims to promote inclusion and build a strong sense of community through a range of activities and community events, bringing individuals and families together to create unforgettable experiences that celebrate all members of the society across five Abu Dhabi districts.
