It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)

A truly classic black and white Christmas movie to watch again and again featuring James Stewart and Donna Reed. The pitch? An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed.


National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)

We still cannot believe this movie is that old! Clark Griswold is trying hard and always failing to prepare the most fun-filled family Christmas ever… A bit dated, but famous for its memorable quotes we simply adore it.


Home alone 3 (1997)

To be honest, we still don’t get why kids love this one so much but are ready to watch them laugh and smile while watching this old-fashioned classic movie. At least it’s quite fun to watch Scarlett Johansson playing Alex’s older sister. We indeed had forgotten about this.


Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

Jim Carrey is the Grinch, this creature who plans to steal Christmas! A recent Christmas movie based on Dr Seuss book and directed by Ron Howard.

Love Actually (2003)
