Ready to get your dose of coffee?
Looking for a convenient spot in the city to stop and quickly grab a specialty coffee? We just checked out this new venue and although we only planned to pickup the coffee we ended up sitting down to enjoy the setting and of course the beverage.
Located opposite Applied Technology High School on Dalma Street, Dose Cafe is a convenient new cafe as there are lots of parking spaces along the street block – something useful and practical especially during the warmest months in Abu Dhabi. This is the first ‘Dose Cafe’ that opened in the UAE and we noticed on Instagram there is another Dose Cafe in Kuwait City.
If you like hunting for Instagrammable spots around the city, this cafe is ideal. The floor is just incredible, with chemistry molecular formulas written on the polished concrete floor, there are different fluorescent lights here and there with chemical tube designs and the furniture is minimalistic . Another very cool new place we are happy to discover and share with you.
If the weather allows it, there is a welcoming terrace for customers to be seated. Visiting early morning in April, it was still the perfect time to enjoy our coffee fix outdoors.
The coffee menu is extensive and includes traditional coffee options and a few fancy options such as Matcha Hot Latte, Dose Pistachio Latte, Dose Cornflakes, Salted Caramel latte and more.
One of the waiters convinced us to taste their best-seller, the ‘Japanese Hot Latte’ which is prepared with espresso, Japanese milk , cardamon and rosewater. Although we never thought we would but we did really like the taste and will no doubt go there for some more soon!
Kids went for a salted caramel smoothie and according to them, the smoothie tasted even better than their usual spot in the city.
We did indulge ourselves with their sweet delicacies : a Lotus cookie and a nutella brownie but these were actually too heavy and sweet for our taste. We hope they will extend their bites section with a few more healthier options.
