Street 9 Cafe worth exploring in Al Forsan Village
Next time you feel like taking the family out for a cozy breakfast or lunch without compromising on the decor, we have something new in store you shouldnβt miss.
Totally hidden inside the Al Forsan Village, this homegrown cafe called Street 9 Cafe is a pleasant spot to head to.
We liked the quirky decor vibes as you feel like the furniture (velvet and leather sofas, white marble tables, stickers on walls) and accessories have been carefully curated to make the cafe look unique and personal. A far cry from the typical style.
The menu is quite extensive with a couple of breakfast options -the cafe opens daily at 10am- and offers plenty of international dishes to choose from including salads, shawarmas, street pies, risotto, pasta and moreβ¦) mostly priced between 40 and 60 AED.
Quietly settled on the comfy sofas, we decided to go for the indulgent items and the kids around the table actually were delighted when our order arrived on the table. While their popcorn shake was definitely a hit that they finished in no time, the mac & cheese was also a success around the table as it was presented in two waffle ice cream cones. A simple detail that added to the fun!
We were less convinced by the Prawn pops coated with a sweet and sour sauce as they were drowned in the sauce. The French fries were perfect and not overly greasy.
A casual spot we will definitely head to soon again for a family lunch outing.
Check the map below to find the Al Forsan Village. Once parked in the underground parking, go to the Spinneys supermarket level and cross the outdoor plaza as the cafe is well hidden, located opposite the Spinneys building.
