Looking for good quality fabric in Abu Dhabi? Cairo Castle Textiles is the place to head. Spread over two levels, the basement is like an Aladdin’s cave, full to the brim with metres of cloth in every print and material imaginable.

The jersey material immediately caught our eye, with a vast range of colours including this season’s deep purple and our personal favourite orange. Although they quote it at 30 AED per yard, there’s always room for bargaining. Other fun prints available include polka dots and Liberty-style prints.

We recommend leaving your car in the Souk car park right opposite Cairo Castle Textiles, which is free of charge, and walking across. With so many fabrics, colours, and prints to pick from, you may be in there some time…
