Awani in Abu Dhabi, the perfect place to find crockery

From time to time, you enter shops in Abu Dhabi without any specific goal in mind and head out with bags full of goodies, feeling lucky to have discovered such a spot.

This is exactly our feeling whenever we visit Awani Shop on Muroor Road. A store we are already familiar with because of its pastry items located on another floor, but it is the household items floor that really is our today new hidden gem.

At first glance, it looks like a big bazaar full of items that would look quite quirky in the home. But once you start digging through the stalls there is a lot to find.

Whether you plan to organize a tea party, an Indian dinner with friends or even kid’s birthday, you will find sets of plates and crockery for super reasonable price.

For example, they have a selection well priced individual cooking pots usually used in Indian restaurants.

We can’t get enough of the tiny faux golden and silver trays handy for mini desserts and the huge selection of shot-glasses for appetizers.

If you have a birthday party coming soon, check out their colorful paper straws, and cups for ice-cream with lids and so much more. There are also plenty of coffee and teapots with interesting materials and looks.
The staff working there is very kind and knowledgeable, so don’t hesitate to ask questions as they know their store well.
