KAYAK THROUGH ABU DHABI’S MANGROVES AT NIGHT

As the weather starts to cool down, it’s finally the time of year when we can plan and enjoy outdoor activities again. We’ve been keen to try kayaking for a while, with the famous mangroves around Abu Dhabi providing the perfect setting – and when we found out that Noukhada Adventure Company arranged a ‘Mystery Night Paddle’ (200 AED per person), we were even keener to give it a go.

The night paddles explore a new part of the mangroves in either circular tours or point to point. The expedition doesn’t begin until 7:00pm, giving the weather a chance to cool down for the evening before you paddle away under the night sky.

Noukhada is an eco-friendly tour company. They are focused towards raising awareness of environmental issues and ensure each activity is conducted in a manner that is less intrusive to the environment.

We are busy blocking out the next few weekends to enjoy the cooler evenings in the quiet mangroves.
