The indoor playground your kids and teens will beg you to visit

Hope you like strolling Marina Mall’s boutiques as you may have to spend more time there if you have kids.

After making big waves in Dubai, Bounce has finally arrived in Marina Mall Abu Dhabi and promises to be bigger (by 33%) and better.

Bounce Abu Dhabi is a unique family outing to get kids active – especially during the warmest months of the year in Abu Dhabi – and spending their energy jumping, playing and bouncing in a fun and safe environment.

What’s the concept? More than 100 interconnected trampolines, two dodgeball courts, two giant airbags, a zip-line running across the venue, and the list is much longer… there are definitely many features that will please the whole family.

For our first visit, once equipped with our wristbands and Bounce grip socks, we were impatient to join the jumping area and at 1pm sharp, the speaker announced the shift allowing new jumpers to access the trampolines for a full hour.

The small ones seemed to have a lot of fun in the junior jumping area or at the slack lines focusing hard on their balance. It is also fun to watch them run and land on big bags full of air, trying to make figures or jumping higher once getting more confident.

We also watched a lot of teens having fun at the Dodgeball court and at The Wall that takes jumping to the next level, as they try to run up a wall using the high rebound capabilities of the trampolines.

This is not just a spot for the kids, as there were many parents joining the fun and jumping without any care.

If you are more into activities that give an adrenaline rush, you can go for the zip-line or try the Quick Drop, a free fall experience with ‘a 18m leap of faith through the ground floor into the depth of the lower basement’.

If you are not keen on trying your hand at jumping, no worries as Bounce also has a cafe with a waiting area that overlooks the indoor playground making the wait quite enjoyable as you get to watch your little ones having a lot of fun.

We liked that there were a lot of staff members checking and giving some advice to the kids in all areas. To avoid any disappointment, especially during the weekends, Bounce has a website where you can book your tickets.

General access for an hour is priced at 80 AED and the extra hour costs 70 AED. The Junior access (for 3 years and above and under 110cm in height) is priced at 70 AED and 50 AED for an extra hour. This price includes the Bounce grip socks.
