KID’S TOYS GET TRADITIONAL

Journey Toys Abu Dhabi, a treasure trove for traditional gifts for kids

In an age dominated by electronics and high-tech products, we are always on the hunt for classic, traditional toys (without a battery compartment) that allow our kids to develop at their own pace with simple and active play. 

This is why we often visit the boutique Journey Toys Abu Dhabi, which opened in Spring 2013. Located on Old Airport Road, between 15^th and 17^th Streets, it’s very easy to get to with a central downtown location. 

We are especially fond of the “Melissa and Doug” collection, which focuses on entertaining kids in an educational way, encouraging their creativity and imagination through arts and crafts. The wooden Sushi Slicing Play set and the Bake and Decorate Cupcake Set are very cute! 

We are impressed by the wide variety for all ages and purposes, from bath toys for infants, to outdoor games for teens, to trinket sets that develop kids’ imagination over eight years old.
