Extremely common throughout Europe, especially in France and Spain, ÉTÉ espadrilles remain timeless while being right on trend. Rarely seen in the UAE, we recently discovered a kiosk in Abu Dhabi dedicated to these summer essentials.
Espadrilles are the ultimate shoe for a cool and carefree look, which are ideal teamed with casual linen pants, summer jeans, short dresses or shorts. Flat and thin, they store away easily which is an added bonus when it comes to packing for summer holidays.
So if you are keen to get your hands on a pair of these ÉTÉ espadrilles, you’ll need to visit the ETE kiosk which is located on the ground floor below the entrance of Ferrari World inside Yas Mall. They offer a wide selection of handmade espadrilles for men and women (sizes start from European 36, UK 3 or US 5) and are crafted from completely natural, 100% biodegradable materials.
With a trendy array of styles from plain canvas colors, to denim and printed patterns, you’re sure to find a pair to suit you. The Macaw collection is the cheapest and starts from 125 AED with at least 10 plain colors available, such as red, green, navy, beige, kaki and more. Teen girls will love the orchid style (185 AED) with printed cotton canvas and ladybugs with dots (225 AED). We personally fell in love with the Maze collection with premium luxury canvas in black and beige twirl that looks very Middle-Eastern (185 AED).
