Have you heard about the incredible piece of art that Canadian artist, Sylvain Tremblay has just created near the dunes of Liwa in the UAE?

Tremblay, a renowned artist and lecturer at the Canadian University of Dubai just completed the largest portrait canvas that measures 12m x 10m and is made completely out of sand.

The initial plan was to do the performance from a hot air balloon but the wind made it tough and he had to finish quicker than expected.

The public will get a chance to see this artwork at Liwa Art Hub as this Hub sits at the base of an 80m high sand dune on which the picture will be displayed.

After the success of Abu Dhabi Art Hub (click here to read our previous article about this Hub), a new branch has recently opened its doors in Liwa that we can’t wait to visit.
